Edinboro University's Annual Student Leadership Conference provides students with the tools to unlock their leadership potential and positively impact the campus and community through a Keynote address and breakout sessions providing leadership training, professional developments, self reflection, and collaboration opportunities.
The theme for this year's conference is, "Cultivating the Success of Emerging Student Leaders." Edinboro University's 2nd Annual Student Leaderhsip Conference will give aspiring student leaders and new students leaders the skills and strategies to develop their leadership potential. Students will become aware of and explore what it means to identify as a student leader on campus at Edinboro Unviersity, while broadening their view of leadership.
This Spring, the conference is holding more opportunities for student leaders including a professional headshot for attendees, an etiqeutte lunch and more breakout session opportunities.
2013 Keynote Speaker: Stanley Pearson

Stanley Pearson II, MBA is a Speaker, Motivational Comedian, Author & Consultant. Stan speaks on topics of Leadership, Diversity & Bullying in addition to other areas of Corporate Training. He has spoken in over 40 States in addition to Spain, Mexico, The British Virgin Islands & Canada. He has written 3 books, all of which can be used in his trainings, seminars and appearances & has co-authored a 4 book. Mr. Pearson is bi-lingual as well which has given him an advantage in his professional and personal life. He created his own Speaking business from the ground up and has been running is own business full-time for 4 Years now with no signs of slowing down. Stan has officially launched His “Am I TOO Sexy?” Tour. It is a show that uses comedy, logic & specific tools to address bullying, depression & self-confidence. Stan truly believes that we don’t have to be perfect, we just have to be better today than we were yesterday.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Along with your Student ID, bring your printed ticket, or an electronic copy on a smart phone, tablet, etc.
Will there be food?
Yes! There will be a coffee bar in the morning, and lunch will be provided with the etiquette session.

What to Wear:
This is a professional student event and we are asking that student attendees dress in business casual attire. Come prepared to present yourself as a student leader. Saturday, April 6th also coincides with National Tartan Day; show your school pride by wearing some type of tartan (ex. Tartan tie, tartan pin, tartan handkerchief, etc.). It may even help you win a prize (see Silent Auction below).
Silent Auction:
Student attendees will have a chance to win 1 of 3 gift baskets that are up for auction during the day of the conference. Each student will have a chance to gain up to 6 raffle tickets with extra opportunities during workshops for participation.
Students will earn:
· 1 Raffle ticket at Check-in for arriving on time before 9:00am
· 1 Raffle ticket at Check-in for wearing tartan plaid for National Tartan Day
· 1 Raffle ticket for each workshop evaluation turned in (4 max per person)
· Each workshop presenter will have 5 raffle tickets (1 max per person/per workshop)
ANNOUNCING: The Silent Auction
We have 3 gift baskets full of Edinboro merch that will go to 3 lucky student participants! Every student will get a ticket for checking in to the conference and then we will announce ways to earn more silent auction tickets on the conference day!
